The Paris conference was a great success.

Toni Ivergard
The Paris conference was a great success. As a first conference of this nature it had a highly relevant content. We had a very exciting workshop in the end of the conference. The need for more creativity in new design was raised. We did also discuss the use of simulators for other purposes than introduction training of new CR operators. They can also be used for training and development. However there is a need of very high level of quality of this type of simulators! The reliability and validity need to be very high. Some new and modern flight simulators fulfill these requirements. More workshops are needed in the future. It is easy to make a long list of new important areas to develop new features of CRs.
